Bob: Photos are great, not much windshield dirt, must have been on your glasses. From what I'm hearing around here yields on that wheat is quite good and like you we've had one of the coolest summers in some time. Just wonder how that will play out on corn and beans. There are some nice stands of corn and beans around here, but a lot of uneven stands as well. I see the first casualty of the wheat harvest about 3 miles from me. Appears to be a 7720, went up in flames. It's some distance from the road so hard to tell exactly which model but it is Deere green. Only paint left is header and the very rear of machine. They seem to have a lot of round baler fires around here as well, claim it's straw wraping between rollers and bearings. I wonder if some of it may be careless smoking by operators. I could see wheat straw igniting quite easily on hot breezy days.
