Be sure the groove in the top of the engine block is clean so the liner will not protrude too far and cause a head gasket failure.
Set the liner up-side down in the groove and see if it fits correctly.
As the other post explained, wrap the sleeve in newspaper and then freeze it overnight. The paper helps keep it cool while transporting from the freezer to the tractor.
Have a large hammer and a block of oak or other hard wood to persuade the liner to fit in place.
Do not strike the sleeve directly with the hammer. Don't get any wood slivers under the sleeve lip.
Have all the tools & supplies ready before getting the first sleeve out of the freezer; you do not have much time before the sleeve warms up and refuses to slide in place.
