Another hydraulics question

This message has also been posted in "Implement Alley."I have an aftermarket 3 pt hitch on a '52 Super M. I "rebuilt" the two unidentified cylinders by cleaning them along with replacing all of the seals/gaskets, etc. All old hydraulic fluid has been drained and replaced. The question is: before I attempt to crank her up to see if the hydraulics work correctly, should I "prime" the cylinders by adding fluid to both ends of the cylinders first? Or will the fluid make its way into them as I believe it should? Any assistance and/or additional advice is appreciated.
