Drive the tractor in HI 1st wide open throttle TA lever forward. Load the tractor by applying the brakes, note whether it slips. Shift the TA and note again what is happening. If tractor stops completely it is the TA out on the low side. If it still slips it is the clutch. A good low side TA cannot slip or stop, it is a mechanical lockup by a sprag.
