The Miller Tire stuff is the right stuff. It made my Super C tires look new from a distance. It does help fill and hide the smaller cracks. I was well-pleased with the results. If you go the the "Articles" Section to the left, under "Research & Info," you can scroll down to the bottom of the list and there is an article on "Black Tire Paint" under the "Product Reviews" section. It is a good article. Don't buy it by the gallon, unless you've got a large fleet you want to paint. They sell it by the quart, you mix it half & half with water, and A LITTLE GOES A LONG WAY. I painted both my rear tires and used probably less than a cup.
