I have a '51 M I bought on eBay. The price was good because of the Saginaw 3 pt, live hydraulics, and the wide front. When I picked it up, I was disappointed that it was missing on one cylinder. It was obvious from all the new parts thrown at it that the P.O. had tried hard to get it running right before deciding to sell it. I figured it must have a pitted valve seat, but when I got it home I ran a compression check to see which cylinder was bad. They were all good! Further examination found a bent and displaced push rod... one exhaust valve wasn't opening at all. Straightened the push rod and it runs like a new one. George Willer
