Tony: I don't know as it will make any difference with your problem, but that resovoir should be filled to the fill hole with the levers and rockshafts in the rear position. If you fill that system with the levers and rockshafts foreward it is overfull. This could be your problem, not saying it is, just could be. I would take the fill plug out and see if this makes any difference. I will warn you oil is going come out if it was filled with rockshafts and levers foreward.
