There are a whole mess of things that range in price from a little to alot, depending on what you want to do with your tractor and how much benefit you intend to gain versus cash spent. Start with carb rebuilds, governor cleanings, etc. Electronic ignitions (like the Pertronix model) are nice and easy to install. Run a straight pipe instead of the restrictive muffler. If you don't care about originality, take an angle grinder and remove the casting metal between the intake and exhaust runners of your manifold, making what amounts to an LP manifold. Slightly more expensive...have your head milled .100" or so. Clean up your intake and exhaust ports (not a porting, just a cleaning of casting lumps and bumps). Replace your pistons with firecrater types (about $300 give or take). The list goes on and on, and prices go up and up! Zak
