From what I can find out there is no definate day or Ser# when changes were added to the lines,they used old parts till they run out and then used the new .Generally the 52's had the bigger engine but the rest was like the standard M with disc brakes.The 53's had live hyd ,disc brakes and batt. under the seat. 54's were mostly MTA's but some were made without the TA
