Thanks for the answer Bob. I will install a voltmeter in the hole where the glow plug indicator went. I am going to use a switch from a Kubota tractor that had glow plugs. The switch turns backward to heat the glow plugs. Also will use the glow plug indicator for the Kubota this indicator is a wire that gets red when the glow plugs are ready. I think this will work okay. I will not need the orginal glow plug button nor the starter button. With the One wire alternator there will be a minium of wires to use.
