Call Wenz service at 1-800-808-7885. I had the same problem with 1566 in second gear the sliding gear does not go onto the trans gear very far and wears a rounded edge on gear and jumps out. Wenz has a different shifter cam that allows the sliding gear to move futher and keeps it in gear. They also have different couplings for the roll pins in the linkage that takes the slop out of it. It works great ad solved the problem for me.
