IMO, the best thing to do is to find a reputable dealer in used heads. The place we deal with guarantees all their heads. They are pressure checked and, if bad and found to be repairable, they do so and pressure check them again. This is what I would do. You're not rolling the dice by picking up another head, having it checked, and finding it to be bad, too. Here's a link below for an outfit that we recommend. Give them a call. You may find this is the best value for the dollar.
