Im not sure what your complaining about here,or are you?If the plate reads SM or SH and its original to the tractor,then its a Super M or Super H.Its not that uncommon to find older parts on the newer tractors,but as far as the seat goes,which one are you refering to being different.Most,if not all the Supers,at least the early one have the same seat assembly as my 41.My 44 H has the same one as well as my 51 M.Dont know if its "original" or not and I really dont care.However,it does 'rub me wrng" as well when I see regualr Ms and Hs and whatevers labeled as Supers,but hey,it aint my tractor!
