I'd like to see a few stats on just exactly how many accidents on the farm are related to moving round bales. If I were you I would look for a wide front and the heavier the better. Keep those bales close to the ground until you are ready to lift them up and then go straight on. Watch turns. Loaded tires would be an asset.
This last is just my personal opinion from 15 years with a light tractor and a loader, but if I am using a loader I want ROPS. Never went over, but have come close.
