The oil comes up through the block and head to the stud holding down the center rocker shaft post. The stud should have a small hole drilled in the bottom end and then another cross hole about in the middle.The oil then goes up the post into the hollow rocker shaft and comes out holes in the top of the rocker arms and soaks the felt pad.The rocker shaft should have a cork in each end held in with a cotter pin to keep the oil from running out the ends.
