Haas has given you a lot of good information. I just want to second what he said about the choke. Since there is no adjustment on the carb, the choke makes all the difference while running on gas. You need to find the choke setting where your engine wants to run. I start on full choke while cranking and then back off to 3/4 choke when it starts. I can back off to about 1/2 choke as it warms, but anything less and it runs rough.
