Jim: There must be a lot of worn out disks across North America. A good wheel controlled disk with 18" notched disk blades will require 1 hp per blade. You will get by with slightly less hp on 16" blades. 18 and 20 inch blades worn down to 16 inch arent worth a tinkers damn.

If an H or a 240 is pulling a 10' or more tandem disk, the disk is not much good. In fact I suggest a land roller would do as well.
