Is it getting water in the oil or vice versa? Is it bubbling into the radiator when it's running? Those symptoms would also point to a cylinder head crack or bad gasket, but you won't know until you disassemble the engine. Cylinder head welding is getting common now, and may be a cost effective repair depending on the state of the rest of the engine. You'll have to evaluate what shape the rest of the engine is in to make an intelligent decision. They are definitely repairable, for a price. Brian
