Shouldn't hurt it a bit on that model. That iron could give a hoot less which way it is hooked up.

Kinda like 'which is the best oil?'. This is a human preference and the iron doesn't care.

They were set up as positive ground at the facory, but it really does not matter in the overall scheme of things.
