Paul, I get what you are saying.... but. Tax increases -if we like them or not, get dumped on us regardless. It seemed in the past that we or them could justify it. We saw them spending money -paving roads, building up poor roads, drains, pipeline water, sewers, and such. If we really needed this stuff is a whole other issue.

My point is that we saw them "spending it". Now adays, we get these increases, and like you sad, 1% every year adds up, but we don't get any return on it, -we don't see them "spending it", except for those new trucks and all that fancy letterhead.
