While I have seen that picture before and enjoy looking at it, it should be noted that it is a diesel despite the MTA decal. Diesels are easier to convert and are stronger as well. Five main bearings, as found in the diesels, are a huge improvement over all of IH's three main bearing four cylinder gas engines. The gas cranks do break, I have a parts 400 with a broken crank.
