I would have to say with all of them that i have seen and been around that they came with single acting and double acting was a option as one of my old customers has one that he bought new and it only had single on it for years till i instaled the double on it the other one that he bought 5or6 years ago came with double in other words they all came with single acting and ya could add the other.
