Dan - Your Super H has disc brakes. If they are out of adjustment, have oil on them, or have worn out friction discs they'll work poorly. (Usually it's a combination of all 3...) Fortunately disc brakes are simple to disassemble, clean and repair. Buy yourself a new set of 4 discs (2 for each side) and go for it. You'll be pleased with the results! Note: If you find oil inside the brakes when you get them apart, figure on replacing the brake shaft seals at the same time. Replacement is a relatively simple job (no special tools or disassembly required) and the parts are cheap.
