450d hyd/power steering

I have a 450d with factory ps, wide front, The ps doesn't work unless i pull one of the aux hyd valves and the 2 point lifts very slow. I've cleaned the screen and changed the fluid. There is a leak on the pressure line where it connects to the hyd controls, plowed snow for three hrs and didn't have to add fluid but, the trans cover got real slick. The 2 point ram broke about a month ago. I replaced it with one from a 300 parts tractor. The ps has been acting up since then. Hmmm... At the same time, I replaced a broken roll pin on the right spool valve d/s control. That should have improved the hyd...
Any ideas????
