Hi Jed, again, well you may very well be right, they might have grabbed whatever jar was the next in line, I would not know. But, what I am saying is that I have seen (heard) folks say that the Ball Special was the correct jar, that's it. They may very well have been incorrect. As a side note, I have an H tractor that has a Donaldson pre cleaner and it has one of these Ball Special jars on it. It was a neighbor`s tractor, he bought it new in '46, my dad bought it from him in '72, there is a possibility that the jar is original. I have a picture of it here on my computer, if I knew how, I would post it for you.
