Well, I have an eye for detail and I have yet to see a specialty jar. Do they sell well on Ebay? People will buy about anything if you tell them it is a one of kind though. Just go to an auction and watch them pay double and even triple for stuff. To them it is a game and if you bid the most you "Win". My question is what company would have set up a seperate product run to make these special jars? It would have been a losing proposition from the get go. How come the original Farmall parts guides don't mention the special jar? Joe's Farmall in Pa. says they were just mason jars. Perhaps I am wrong? Whatever was available in the way of parts was what was used as I understand it. Are points deducted if you don't have the correct jar?
