Painting bolts on tractor?

Have a Farmall H. It was prepainted when I got it. Everything was painted, even the belt! My belief is that the bolts should be left unpainted. Otherwise, if you remove or loosen the bolts with wrenches, it is a chance that the paint on the bolt will become scratched or taken off. I think it adds a little class to the tractor to have stainless steel bolts showing instead of painted ones with quite a bit of scratch marks. I suppose painting them would be better if the tractor was to sit out, but if it is kept inside, I suppose stainless steel without the paint would do. What does everyone else think?
