Yes, the gallery plug behind the tappet cover was missing. That was easy. But the one behind the camshaft gear is also missing. That will be more challenging. Guess my engine rebuilder wasn't careful enough to keep track of plugs, and I didn't have enough wisdom to double check. After I get it running I'll check the pressure spring. Many thanks for you helpful advice. Wilson
