Bryce, the main clutch should move the ta to the low side when pushed all the way in, if they do not then the transmission will be next to impossible to shift when on any slope at all (you usually have to pull the ta back to shift them when they are not adjusted right) and as others on this board have said before "with ta's adjusted close is not good enough".
