Tom: I had steps on my 560 years ago. I had them on clutch side, and at the platform I filled it in to about 1' in front of clutch pedal. I placed a step just below linkage for clutch and had handles on hood as well as fender. I had to fabricate everything, the chassis on the newer tractors with steps is different. Good move, old bones just cant stand climbing over a 3 point hitch. I wasn't so old back then, just that I had a 656 and a 1066 at same time and that made me realize there is a better way. It worked so well I almost did my 300, but it didn't have fenders.
