They also put out a bulletin in the 1950's saying to change from touch control fluid to the same oil that you use in the crankcase. My Dad got the word from the dealer he bought his Super A from, changed to 30 wt. ND, and its been there ever since. I rebuilt it for the first time 2 years ago and put 30 wt. ND back in it. That said, I have also rebuilt a few more that I changed from engine oil to Hy Tran. All the old timers here use engine oil though.
