You want the flake for mixing your own. It mixes real easy, you ca use a drill with a 1/2" rod to mix, like one of those paint mixers. I don't know about the other type being different just a little harder to mix. I wouldn't think lime would make less toxic as lime isn't very good on metal either.
What part of Pa are in? I'm in southern Clearfield County.
