Can anyone tell me if the 50lb. bags of Calcium Chloride flake type or the 50lb. bags of Calcium Chloride pellet type found at local Agway store's be used for mixing with water for filling a tractor tire. I though it was ok., but I just wanted to be sure since I seen that there are apparently different types. Another reason I ask this question is that I was wondering if there are some types of Calcium Chloride that are less prone to making those irratating hazardous fumes when mixing with water or are they all the same. Also does lime really help neutralize the steel eating corrosiveness of the Calcium Chloride when mixed in for the tires. Thanks, Ray in Pa.
