I was at that auction. It was south of Champaign, Illinois and there was indeed well over 20 Farmalls of various years and conditions. I don't recall seeing a 450 go for $1200 though. I know the farmer was offered $1000 for all 27 tractors by a guy in Minnesota and the farmer turned him down. All in all, I would say the farmer came out about the same in the end. If there was a 450 that went for $1200 then it must have been while I was in the concession line or I would have bought it! Griz
