I just was told a sad story about a 450. Seems as though a farmer had a 450 tractor on an auction along with about twenty some other IH s. Farmer was a large grain farmer in the black lands of Il. The 450 caught fire 40 years ago but was totally repaired and new sheet metal and tires were put on it. The farmer put it in a large shed and never used it again. this tractor had only 1200 hrs. Now the sad part, I was not at the sale but tractor sold for $1200 what a buy not. The buyer sold it for parts right at the auction site tractor was said to run perfectally. I am a Case man but I would still save a Good tractor of any brand that was this good. If anyone has any pictures of this sale please post them.
