Mowerman is correct except he left out a 0. Super A's run from FAA 250001-357958. The older A runs from FAA 501-220829. The Super A has hydraulics, the one you saw was probably not an add on, although it could have been. If one serial tag did indeed say A, it was probably because the other letters had worn off.
