Where would you look first for spark problem?

My old C with a mag would not start this weekend.Ran great when I used it last. Took the coil wire off and had a very weak small orange spark there. Had no spark at all at the plug wires.All the ignition parts are about two years old. Knowing all this where would you guys look first or would you just start replaceing everthing till it works?Thanks for you help. Paul
