As Karl did, I completely rebuilt a 1949 MD. I have about the same amount into it as Karl had, about $8000. My block and head were OK so it was a matter of rebuild kit and injector pump/injector rebuild. The engine is where I spent the most money. When I was done, it is my favorite tractor next to my Super H, A, B, and Super C. Like Karl said, there are a lot of questions about why does this diesel tractor have spark plugs. Roger
