Jeff, on my 584 the fuel shut down knob can actually be used to give more fuel for start up especially in cold weather. Pull the shut off out slowly and about half way you can feel it stick slightly this will give extra fuel and perhaps help you get going. You may have to bleed right at the connections to the injectors if this won't start it. Get some diesel fuel conditioner and fuel line anti freeze in the tank, this will help get rid of the moisture. A machinery dealer friend of mine says to put a liter of automatic transmission fluid in the tank, this also helps remove moisture and it lubes the pump...I'm away this weekend but check with me if you don't get going and I'll get back to you....Mike in Exeter Ontario
