Radiatorcap 1940 H

I am wondering is he radiator cap on a 1940 H is a pressure cap or is it just to keep the coolant from leaking. I have the big red cap that was original to them. I was looking at pictures and all I see is regular caps. If they are pressure caps what is the pounds they are supposed to hold?One more ? Where would you get a crank for one of these?
