The mechanic I talked to that doesn't work at Case IH anymore asked me if the drive line still was turning or not. When I told him yes he said it was most likely the clutch pack. What your saying about the front diff. turning the shaft makes since. Thats probably what this mechanic was gettig at; because if something was broke in the front diff. the shaft would proubably not turn when disengaged. He said that he couldn't remember if it was spring engaged and Hyd. disengaged or visa versa but he said he knew it was opposite of the Magnums. Sounds like I'm going to have a 2WD tractor for awhile.
