Hi, we had SC wich is just an older model of 230.
It would do a similar thing and the problem was pilot bearing.
The pilot bearing on the SC was just a bronze bushing in the flywheel and lubricant would dry up, then the bushing would sieze to the transmission shaft and even though the clutch was released the transmission shaft would turn.
Try breaking it loose by: ENGINE OFF,
putting trator in 4th gear hold the clutch depressed with a block and rock rear wheels.
