Thanks to some old Farmer

Was mowing wheat stubble yesterday with 300 RC and 27V mower. Got to wishing I had a tach to tell me what throttle setting equaled 540 RPM on the PTO. ( I seem to remember the IHC tachs were marked that way!) I adjusted the throttle until the mower "sounded right" and started counting notches - guess what? The notch I was using was marked by scratches obviously made by previous owner for the same reason. Thanks old Farmer! Now did he mark the throttle based on fact or like me it just sounded right? Anybody have a RC 300 with Tach that can tell me which notch = 540RPM? Thanks guys. Dick Davis
