Not sure if the utility tractor brakes are much different than the row-crop brakes. I just tore into mine and sanded the steel disks and braking surfaces, cleaned and lightly oiled the mechanism and steel balls (you'll see them when you take it apart) and put it back together. The housing is kinda' heavy so be careful when removing the bolts around the edges that hold it onto the tractor. Also, try not to breathe the rust and dust you'll find. I thought it was pretty easy to service them (I have a 450 row crop).
