The VP4D Wisconsin on my New Holland 80 baler - I pull it with my "Good M" - got worked real hard baling wheat straw. The combine driver cut the wheat long and left the windrows too big, so the ole gal grunted pretty hard through it all, 92 degrees as well. I idled the motor for at least ten minutes before I shut it down and even then it "dieseled" for a while. The next day when I started the engine it ran but popped and cracked and took a long time to begin to smooth out. It never got good but I only had about five minutes to play with it. What's your best guess as to where to start trouble shoooting? Carbon in the cyclinders? Ignition break down? Plugs? Appreciate any suggestions. I only run the engine about three times a year and had never worked the engine that hard. Thanks Jon. Sorry for the long winded explaination.
