I too will be in my first parade Friday. Hard to tell what gear to go in. I'm thinking I'll start out in second and see where i need to keep throttle. If I need to stop and get into third or whatever so I can be between 1/3 and 2/3 throttle so be it. Everyone does everything for the first time sometime. Pretty philisophical,huh? Wrong spelling I know......Good Luck and Have FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!
