Tom, I have had manifolds welded with the proper cast rods and they have held, but the best thing I ever did was buy a new one...you cannot believe how much better the tractor will run..better flow and distribution to the chambers, with a new manifold. A good welding shop should be able to patch you up, then you should get it planed and new gaskets...and a new one won't be that much more...Good luck with your manifold...Mike in Exeter Ontario
