I probably shouldn't have answered since I didn't think the 784 would be that old. Sometimes someone asks "what is the worst Farmall/International?" The 784 would get my vote--Others may have been ok, but the one I drove was a true lemon. Injector pump needed to be fixed within 2 days (New tractor). Front spindle broke with no load or loader on it (glad the person on it wasn't in road gear) pin broke in the gearshift, making 4th gear (low range) useless, 3 point had a habit of hanging in the up position, noisiest transmission I ever heard and several things I don't remember.
