I would disassemble the rear frame of the tractor if you are planning on keeping and using the tractor. This is the only way you can check all the bearings, the brake shaft/differential inner bearings cannot be changed or looked at, it may appear that you can remove the housing but you cannot, the bull gears fit into a cut-out on the brake housings, also check all the axle bearings by removing the housings, I have seen many sad cases of busted up good tractors from ignoring this, broken gears and holes punched in the bottom of the case under bull gears.
