I talked to the tech rep for Hy-Capacity...He told me the TA needs to be used about 50% of the time to extend the life of it...The TA needs to be shifted fast...IH made sure that happened on the 88 series tractors with the electric shift high/low ie. TA...I'm not sure the 544 TA would coast in TA...I know the 706 doesn't coast in TA...HY-Capacity is a rebuilder of TAs in Humboldt, IA...They have a spline type TA they invented that has a life-time warrantee
